About the Position
The Department of Psychology at the University of Mary Washington invites applications for a full-time tenure-track, Assistant Professor position beginning August 16, 2012.
The successful candidate must have expertise in the biological bases of behavior, including but not limited to animal learning, motivation and cognition. Candidates must be able to teach General Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, Learning and Motivation, Physiological Psychology and other courses compatible with the candidate’s areas of interest (e.g., Psychopharmacology, Cognitive Neuroscience, etc.). The successful candidate must also be willing to supervise a small animal (rodent) colony. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates and directing undergraduates in independent research. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Psychology by August 15, 2012.
